UNIKOV Steel spol. s.r.o. was established in 1992 under the leadership of Jaroslav Sečka with a simple idea: to build an engineering company producing quality and affordable metal furniture for the Czech and foreign markets. That is why the most skilled craftsmen were carefully selected as the first employees – such tradition our company has maintained to this days.
The fruits of this diligence were not long in coming, and UNIKOV Steel quickly established on the domestic and foreign markets. Demand was high, so UNIKOV Steel began to expand rapidly. The original number of 14 employees, with whom he started in 1992, grew to 300 in 1994.

2012
Thanks to this, we were also noticed in 2012 by the Gazd family, who, despite the crisis, bought the company, invested in it and gave it a new breath that we have not lost. Thanks to new technologies, we have become fully competitive again, which we demonstrated in 2018 with the VITVAL project, another contract for the Scandinavian giant IKEA.

2024
In 2024, the company became part of the investment group Colibri Capital a.s. This strategic cooperation represents another milestone on the way to the success and growth of the company. This change also means a partial change in the production range and new investments in the company's technological equipment.

In recent years, our company has also been engaged in the custom production of parts of smaller structures made of steel, both carbon steels and stainless materials. We produce according to the documentation of our customers and we are able to produce almost everything that our technological capabilities allow us.
